I love pretty much everything about print: Working with the clients on the messaging, working with copywriters and photographers. Then, building the piece, making sure the story I’m telling via images and content is clear and directional. These days I don’t do a lot of press-checks but I love even those—it’s so much fun working with printers (they are the experts, after all) to make sure the project is as beautiful as it looks on a computer screen.
I’ve created everything from small, short-run invitations to large, big-run catalogs. I’ve worked with digital, sheet-fed, and web printers around the country. To be as versatile as possible, and to meet my client’s needs, I own large-format printers so I can run small jobs at will.
