Projects: H&H Early Learning
The H&H Early Learning branding project was a joy because of the variety of pieces I got to create. From the logo to the print to the signage, the project kept me on my toes. For example, I had never designed anything for something as big as the existing outdoor pylon sign. It was a challenge because it needed to be visible from the street during both day and night—the image had to have a certain amount of contrast to show up during the day. The branded gold wouldn’t work as a background and white just washed the logo out. The compromise was a dark grey with hints of aqua. I also switched the font for this one piece because the serifs read better at a distance than the sans serif branded font.
